You can delete your own TalleFlow account from Profile → Security.

⚠️ Important: Deletion is permanent: your login and personal data are erased, and you are signed out. This cannot be undone. Download a copy of your data first if you want to keep it.
This article is for TalleFlow business users (the main app). Client portal logins use a different path — see Client portal login below.

How to Open Account Deletion

  1. Click your profile photo in the top-right corner.
  2. Click Manage your Profile.
  3. Open the Security tab.
  4. Scroll to Delete account.
  5. Click Delete account.
You’ll see a dialog that lists any businesses you own and asks you to confirm with your email.
Deletion is available on the web app. It is not available in the mobile app yet. From mobile, you’ll be sent to the browser to sign in, then Settings Profile Security.

Before You Delete

  • Download your data on the same Security page (Download your data → Download JSON). That file includes your profile, memberships, notifications, and related account records. It does not include CRM data you hold for clients (contacts, projects, invoices).
  • If you own a business with a team, transfer ownership during deletion (or invite someone first so they appear as a transfer option).
  • If you only want to stop optional analytics or marketing, use Privacy preferences on Security instead of deleting the account.
  • If you only need to leave one business, ask an owner or admin to remove you from Business Settings → Members. You don’t need to delete your whole TalleFlow account.

What Happens to Businesses You Own

What Happens to Businesses You OwnWhen you click Delete
account,TalleFlow checks businesses where you are the
owner.

Shared businesses (you have a team)

These must be transferred before you can delete.

The dialog lists each shared business. For each one:

  1. Choose a team member.
  2. Click Transfer
The dialog lists each shared business. For each one Until every shared business is transferred, the emailconfirmation field and Delete account button stay disabled.

After transfer, that person becomes the owner. The business and the rest of the team keep working. You are no longer the owner.

Eligible recipients are other active members of that business.

Businesses you own by yourself

These close automatically when you delete your account. The dialog lists them under These businesses will be closed automatically.

⚠️ Important: Closing a business ends that workspace. Don’t delete your account if you still need that business’s projects, contacts, or files.

If you aren’t the owner (you’re a member or admin), deleting your account removes you from those businesses. It does not close them.

How to Delete Your Account

  1. Open Delete account (steps above).
  2. Transfer every shared business, if any are listed.
  3. Review businesses that will close automatically.
  4. Type your account email exactly as shown
  5. Click Delete account.
  6. Complete Verification required — re-enter your password, or use an email/phone code and two-factor authentication if that’s how you sign in.
After verification, TalleFlow starts deletion and signs you out. You’ll land on the sign-in page.

What Is Deleted

Deletion erases your personal TalleFlow account. That includes:
  • Your login and profile
  • Memberships in businesses (you’re removed from teams)
  • Communities, follows, and similar social links
  • Listings, events, and automations tied to you as the owner
  • Project team links and notes about you
  • Your Clerk sign-in identity
  • Your TalleFlow subscription (billing is cancelled)

Work that must stay for the business or for legal/financial records is kept but stripped of your personal details where possible — for example invoices, contracts, and similar documents. Some billing identifiers may be kept for reconciliation.

⚠️ Important: This cannot be undone. A closed solo business is not restored if you create a new account later.

    After Deletion

    • You can’t sign in with that account.
    • Shared businesses you transferred keep running under the new owner.
    • Solo businesses you owned are closed.
    • To use TalleFlow again, create a new account. Nothing from the deleted account is restored.

      Client Portal Login

If you only use the client portal (magic-link access to a
      photographer’s workspace), that’s a different account.
      1. Sign in to the portal.
      2.  Open Privacy & data (footer).
      3.  Click Delete portal data
That removes your portal login and signs you out. It does not delete contact, project, or invoice records the business holds about you.

To remove those, contact the business, or email info@talleflow.com.

      If You Can’t Sign In

If You Can’t Sign InEmail info@talleflow.com with the subject Privacy rights request. Include the email on the account.

We’ll verify it’s you, then help with deletion. Prefer self-service when you can still sign in.

      Account Deletion Checklist

      • Download your personal data JSON (optional but recommended)
      • Confirm you’re ready to close any businesses you own by yourself
      • Invite or confirm a teammate if a shared business still needs an owner
      • Open Profile → Security → Delete account
