Put an AI assistant on your team.

Connect TalleFlow to the AI tools you already use — like ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor — and get an edge most businesses don't have yet: an assistant that actually knows your business.

Plan Eligibility

Plan requirement: The TalleFlow MCP is available on paid plans only. Users on the Freelancer (free) tier cannot connect or use the MCP.
If you are on a paid plan, you can connect your AI assistant to TalleFlow using the MCP at ai.talleflow.com/mcp. If you are on the Freelancer tier, you will need to upgrade before you can set up this connection.

What it's like having an AI on your team

Instead of digging through screens, you just ask. Your assistant can tell you what needs attention this week, who still owes you, and where you could earn more — then draft the follow-ups for you. Under the hood it's simply your AI connected to TalleFlow, securely, and only when you ask.

1. You ask

"Look at my week and tell me what needs my attention." Ask in plain English, right inside your AI assistant.

2. It connects securely

The assistant securely looks up just the data you've allowed it to see — only your TalleFlow business, nothing else.

3. You get an answer

A clear answer pulled straight from your account. No clicking through screens to find it.

Hook it up in about two minutes
Point your AI assistant at one URL. Sign in to TalleFlow once, choose what to share, and you're connected.

Your TalleFlow MCP URL

https://ai.talleflow.com/mcp Copy URL — the same URL works for every AI assistant below.

ChatGPT

Available on Plus, Pro, Business, and Enterprise plans, using Developer Mode. Set this up in the web version at chatgpt.com — it isn't available in the ChatGPT desktop app.
  1. At chatgpt.com in your browser, go to Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Browse, and use the + button to add a custom connector.
  3. Paste your TalleFlow MCP URL (https://ai.talleflow.com/mcp) as the connector.
  4. Sign in to TalleFlow, approve what to share, and start asking.
  5. Close and reopen the chat so the tool list refreshes, then pick the connector from the Developer mode / + menu.

Note: on Plus/Pro, read actions work fully; write actions (creating tasks, projects, contacts) require a Business or Enterprise plan — a ChatGPT limit, not a TalleFlow one.

    Claude

Most Claude plans support custom connectors.
    1. Open Claude, then go to Settings → Connectors.
    2. Click Add custom connector.
    3. Paste your TalleFlow MCP URL (https://ai.talleflow.com/mcp) as the remote MCP server URL and save.
    4. Click Connect, then sign in to TalleFlow and approve the permissions you want to share.
    5. Ask Claude something about your business. That's it.

On Team or Enterprise, an owner adds the connector once under Organization settings, then everyone can connect.

      Cursor & other MCP clients

Any tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol can connect.

Add the TalleFlow MCP URL as a remote MCP server in your client's configuration. The sign-in and permission step happens automatically the first time you connect.
      You're in control
      • You choose exactly which permissions to grant when you connect.
      • The assistant only sees your business, scoped to your account.
      • Disconnect any time from your AI tool or your TalleFlow settings.
      • It can read your data, draft for you, and take actions you allow — like creating a task or project. It only acts when you ask, and it can't email your clients or charge cards.

Things to ask once you're connected

Less "run me a report," more "be an advisor who already knows my business." Copy any prompt, paste it into your connected assistant, and tweak the bits in brackets.

      Tips for better results

Treat your assistant like a sharp new team member who just needs a little direction.
Be specific. Name the client, the date range, or the project. The more precise you are, the better the answer.
Ask follow-ups. You're having a conversation. Drill in with "now just the unpaid ones" or "sort by date."
Ask it to draft. Have it write the follow-up message or the recap. You review and send, so you stay in control.
Tell it your goal. Say what you're aiming for, like "help me book more weekends," and its advice gets sharper.

      Frequently asked questions

What is an MCP server, really?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to outside tools safely. The TalleFlow MCP server is what lets an assistant like ChatGPT or Claude look up your tasks, projects, contacts, and payments when you ask — without you copying and pasting anything.
Is it safe? What can the AI see?
You're in control. When you connect, you sign in to TalleFlow and choose exactly which permissions to grant. The assistant only sees your own business data, and you can disconnect at any time from your AI tool or your TalleFlow settings.
Can it make changes, or just answer questions?
Both. It answers questions and drafts text, and with the permissions you grant it can take actions like creating a task, creating a project, or adding a contact. It only acts when you ask, and there's no way for it to email your clients or charge cards. We're expanding what it can do over time.
Which AI assistants work with it?
Any assistant that supports the Model Context Protocol, including Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor. You connect them all with the same TalleFlow MCP URL.
      Does it cost extra?
No. Connecting an AI assistant is included with your TalleFlow account at no extra cost — but it does require a paid plan. It's not available on the Freelancer (free) plan. You just connect the AI tool you already use.
      Can Freelancer (free) users connect?
Not yet. The AI assistant connection is a paid-plan feature. If you're on the Freelancer plan, upgrade to a paid plan to connect your AI assistant.
Do I need to be technical to set it up?
No. If you can paste a URL into your AI assistant's settings, you can connect TalleFlow. The whole thing takes a couple of minutes, and the steps are above.
Get the edge most businesses don't have yet
Start a free trial, connect the AI you already use, and run a sharper business from day one. No more digging through screens for answers you can just ask for.

      Troubleshooting

I cannot authorize the MCP connection
The MCP is only available on paid plans. If you see an error or upgrade prompt during authorization, check your current plan in your account settings.
I was connected but lost access
If you downgrade from a paid plan to the Freelancer tier, your MCP connection will stop working. The connection is not grandfathered in. You will need to upgrade again to restore access.
Plan eligibility is checked both during the initial authorization and on ongoing API calls. This means access can be lost at any time after a downgrade, not only when you try to reconnect.
My AI tool shows an authentication error
If your AI assistant reports an authentication or authorization failure, check:
      1. That your TalleFlow account is on a paid plan.
      2. That you completed the full OAuth authorization flow (not just entered the MCP URL).
      3. That your session has not expired. Try disconnecting and reconnecting.
